An Argentine short will be part of the Animafest Festival in Zagreb
The national short film "Raining", Director Ignacio Lillini's debut feature was chosen to be part of the Official Competition of the Animafest festival in Zagreb.
National production is part of the World Panorama section, along with other 24 works by 18 countries, in which a collection of the most original titles is brought together, innovative and daring in contemporary animation.
"It was raining" happens during a suffocating summer afternoon, in which Iñaki, eleven years old, he lies between the half-naked bodies of his brothers and his father. Outside, it starts to rain. Between game and desire, Iñaki kisses his father's back. Within, it also starts to rain. Iñaki uses his imagination to go through the situation.
Zagreb Animafest is one of the most important festivals internationally. After its first edition in 1972, it is the second oldest film festival in the world dedicated entirely to the animation genre.
