A “Notable Experience” to get closer to literature

The Ministry of Culture of the City, through the Directorate General for Book Promotion, Libraries and Culture, together with Patrimonio BA, enabled a catalog of books for reading in different Notable Bars of the City.

This initiative, that will allow access to a catalog of books, In Notable Cafes and Bars in Buenos Aires, can be enjoyed from this Tuesday 16 of March.

"Notable Experience" seeks to promote reading curiosity in neighborhoods, through a selection of books made available for reading in ten notable cafes and bars. All publications belong to the catalog of the Network of Public Libraries of the City, and they can be consulted and read only within the establishments.

With the aim of promoting actions around reading and the use and knowledge of the emblematic spaces of the City, Each selected bar will have a specific shelf where books of different genres will be available., authors and titles.

Along with each book there will be a small instructions for its safe use and information to virtually associate with the Network of Public Libraries of the City.
