The theater Tabarís, reconverted Multitabarís, Buenos Aires on Corrientes Avenue, He opened with new releases, alternately, of “The Mousetrap”, directed by Jorge Azurmendi, “Perfect bodies” directed by Manuel González Gil and “Fatal Attraction”, José María Muscari.

Founded in 1924, returned to the ring after nine months of renovations that respected its historical value, especially with regard to the art deco façade and the physiognomy of the boxes.

 

The three new spaces reopened their doors on Monday so that the public can begin to enjoy the performances. It should be noted that the original room located on the ground floor (500 seats), a new one located on the upper floor and a space built in the basement were added, each with the capacity to 400 viewers.

 

The businessman Carlos Rottemberg, producer with more than 43 years of trade, he has owned the theater since 1981, although the place changed its original destination due to the ravages of the economic crisis in 1998 and had become the headquarters of an evangelical church until 2006, when it recovered its imprint of functions and seats.

 

The now called Multitabarís expands its capacity and adopts the identity of complex, a common element with the Multitheater, both spaces led by the same playwright (also owner of El Liceo) and with the support of the Comafi bank.
