Film and music series return to the Modern Museum
The Modern Museum of Buenos Aires announced the return of its film and music series with two unmissable proposals for the general public.
On the one hand, “Cinema is something else” will take place on Thursday 24 and Friday 25 October at 19 hours. Under the curatorship of Gabriela Golder, The program includes “Un film dramatique” (France, 2019) of Eric Baudelaire and “Martin Blaszko III” (Argentina, 2011) by Ignacio Masllorens, accompanied by the short film “From point to form” (Argentina, ca. 1954-58). The functions will take place in the museum's auditorium, with tickets to $2.500 for residents and $10.000 for foreigners.
Likewise, in November, the “Listen” festival [Visual sounds]” proposes a unique sound exploration. Saturday 2 and Sunday 3, from 14, Free improvisation workshops will be held led by Cecilia Quinteros and Marcelo von Schultz, registration required. There will also be audiovisual performances, as “Resonant Nodes” and “Radiants”, plus deep listening sessions in the dark, highlighting the work of Francisco López (Spain) and Beatriz Ferreyra (Argentina). Tickets maintain the same costs, and capacity is limited.
