Willy Crook and Mariú Fernández inaugurate an open-air musical cycle

Renowned musician Willy Crook, one of the main exponents of funk and soul music in the country, will join forces with the singer and actress Mariú Fernández for the opening of an open-air musical cycle.

The appointment will be during this weekend, starting at 18, moment when Crook shows up on Saturday and Fernández on Sunday for the "Bebop Sessions at Aldo's", which will take place on the terrace of Arévalo, located on Arévalo 2032.

Crook will be accompanied by his inseparable Funky Torinos, which also features the vocalists Aime Cantilo and Johana Gandolfo del Valle.

With ten edited albums to his credit, Crook played with bands and soloists like Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota, Sumo, The grandparents of nothing, Riff, Charly García, Andres Calamaro, The managers, Virus, Manal and in the international arena Lions in Love, James Brown Band, David Bowie, Gotan Project, Rita Marley and Alvin Lee, among others

On Sunday, it will be the turn of Mariú Fernández, who will present acoustic versions of their shows “Amy’s Night” and “Classics”, acclaimed for years in the Bebop Club.

In this concert she will be accompanied by Andrés Pérez Alarcón on piano, Nicolás Radicchi on double bass, Claudio Scolamiero on sax and Nacho Colombini on drums and percussion.
