Newly way, The Editorial Brand announced the presentation of the book “The cinemas to come”, publication by Jerónimo Atehortúa that will take place at the FUC (Cinema University).

The event will take place on Thursday 21 September in the house of higher studies located on the Giuffra Passage 330 starting at 19 hours, where the author will be accompanied by Albertina Carri and David Oubiña.

Atehortúa is also critical, screenwriter and film director and, in order to develop this work, spoke with 15 contemporary filmmakers, among whom are Lucrecia Martel, Albert Serra, Rita Azevedo Gomes, Mariano Llinás, Victor Gaviria, Albertina Carri, Alice Rohrwacher, Victor Erice, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Carlos Reygadas, Kelly Reichardt, Lav Diaz, Peter Coast, Radu Jude and a study on Béla Tarr, with whom the author of the book studied at the Sarajevo Film Academy.

Through this book, The author captures those dialogues where the passion for the Seventh Art is reflected and at the same time, the direction the industry is taking.
