The new book by Isabel Allende already achieved in Argentina
The new novel by Chilean author Isabel Allende, “Long Petal sea”, which tells the story of a Catalan couple who was part of the more than two thousand Spanish exiles who arrived in the Andean country on board the ship chartered by Pablo Neruda 1939, available from libraries in Argentine.
To develop topics, the writer spent several months interviewing survivors of historical episode, including the recently deceased Victor Pey, Spanish entrepreneur and journalist who was an adviser to Salvador Allende, to whom the book is dedicated.
The book of 384 pages, published by Penguin Random House through its seal Square & Janes, She is played by the young doctor and her friend Victor Dalmau pianist Bruguera Roser.
