Between 13 July and 31 August will be held in Mar Dulce Gallery's first solo exhibition of the artist Sofia Alvarez Watson -better known as La Watson-, which it will also be accompanied by a book of the same name, published by Gallery Editorial.

"Sophia and animals" is the brand name of the sample can be seen in the enclosure Uriarte 1490 Palermo and has a total of 20 embodiments found in the book published.

In that context, editors note that "many cartoons, from Disney classics to BoJack Horseman, They seem to have an obsession to bring animals to our urban life, creating worlds where we are not surprised to speak, working, are alcoholics, or do not arrive later this month "and add: "In a reverse way, Sofia proposes to leave the city, shed everything and go to look for the animals to their place rawer ".

The audience will enjoy a tour of paradises created by the artist in his work notes, plays, play, sleeps, advances between wild animals and dense vegetations, as a curious child who discovers the world.

Born in Colombia and living in Buenos Aires, Watson paints animals, draws fire goddesses and love stories of strangers. In this context he exhibited his works in different parts of Latin America, among them, Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Argentina.

Likewise, He has published two graphic novels and a book of paintings: A Kiss So (Ed. Musaraña, Argentina); three Summers (Ed. Shoot the messenger, Argentina and Ed. Silhouette, Colombia); Sofia and animals (Ed. Gallery, Argentina) which it includes several pieces of this exhibition.

The schedule to visit the gallery are Tuesday through Saturday, of 15 a 20 hours.
