Lezama Space honor the architect Francisco Salamone

Through an exhibition and a film series, Lezama Art Space will pay tribute to the memory of the architect and engineer Francisco Salamone, within the framework of the 120 anniversary of his birth.

Salamone was a distinguished professional who gave life to works that today remain in force in the country, as a series of truly exceptional monuments that were created during the time of the '30 and can still be enjoyed.

Born in Italy, Salamone came to the country with his parents and four brothers and managed to get an engineering degree, He is dividing his studies between Córdoba and the city of La Plata. Later, its popularity grew as a result of remarkable constructions, covers made in cemeteries, municipalities and slaughterhouses.
