“Summer Inventory” by Patricia Tewel at the Mar Dulce Gallery

This Saturday 26 October, Patricia Tewel will inaugurate her first individual exhibition at the Mar Dulce Gallery, entitled "Summer inventory".
The exhibition will be open until the 7 December in the traditional Buenos Aires enclosure located on Uriarte 1490. In this series, made of 34 Drawings and paintings, Tewel presents a visual universe where objects and memories are intertwined intriguingly and thoroughly.
The curatorial text, by Jimena Ríos, Describe Tewel's work as a “creation ritual in which everyday objects, Like flowers, ceramics and jewelry, They come alive through color, without relying on defined lines ". The artist “seems to dig up memories and landscapes, transforming the role into a space where they have passed and present coexist ". According to Ríos, "These objects are born from color and not the stroke, evoking a reflection on the way we perceive the everyday and the real ”.
Patricia Tewel, born in San Juan in 1975, She is graduated from the graphic design career in the UBA, where he was also a teacher. He has studied drawing and jewelry with outstanding artists, and has participated in collective exhibitions in Argentina and abroad. Since 2018, His work is part of the Mar Dulce Gallery, And currently coordinates a drawing workshop for young people in Buenos Aires.
