This illustrated book tells the beginnings of a true friendship, built from art, gardening and good conversation.

Within that context, Wolf will be the main character. This is a painting lover, but unfortunately he has no one to portray in the enormous castle in which he lives.

But nevertheless, everything will change after the arrival of Dog, a gardener who without knowing it, will become the perfect model and in turn, a very good friend.

Maijala is an artist dedicated to writing, illustration, visual arts and animation. His artistic practice is based on play, experimentation, trial and error in the spirit of DIY.

He currently works at the House of Artists on Harakka Island., Helsinki, and studies painting at the Free Art School Helsinki. She has received several awards and nominations for her work as an illustrator of children's books., for example, the Finnish State Prize for Artistic Illustration in 2020 and the Rudolf Koivu award for best children’s book illustration on two occasions (2009 Y 2019). Her first book as a children's author, "Journey of the Rose" (2018), was nominated for the Nordic Council Children's and Young People's Literature Prize and was presented at the Bologna Illustrators' Exhibition.
