The Núcleo Silvestre theater group will carry out the play “I will burn all your papers” at the Quilmes Municipal Theater, With free entry.

The appointment will be on Saturday 22 October from 20 hours, under the direction of Juan José Santillán. It is recommended to arrive in advance as tickets are subject to the capacity of the venue located on Miter Avenue. 721.

As the director explained to The sidewalk, “I will burn all your papers” is a project that includes two works. "In addition to the date of this Saturday, on Wednesday 26 -from 20- We will be at the National University of Quilmes within the framework of the Festival of Art and Technology ‘JamTec’”, Santillan detailed.

The work is headed by Claire Salabelle, Victoria Ponte, Diana Cortajerena and Nahuel Cardozo. About the text, Santillan manifests: “I believe in elephants that go for a walk and break the present. I recognize myself in that footprint” and adds: “Elephants happen, the rest of us watch. I believe in the elephants that support the depths of the void and come out of this present through the door. They are not community, nor collective, no tie, no movement. They are healthy bearers of debauchery in a slow body, heavy and forceful. So launched they go to meet other pastures”.

Within that context, the work will ask the viewer if there is another possible land, and if there is, which one will be better?

This show is based on the diary of a Cuban radio operator and combatant who fought in Africa against the racist apartheid army..

Likewise, this will only be the starting point for the confluence of four actresses and actors who address essential issues of their own futures.

The possibility of arming an internationalist machine, a radiotelegraph; and recompose the extreme experience of the diary far from nostalgia or cynicism. The cross between document and a present in ruins with the environment and the reference of Africa, in everyone's imagination, and live music as another protagonist on stage.

The work is part of the "Internationalists Project" together with "El radiotelegrafista", premiered in July of this year by the same group from Quilmes, whose members (from Argentina, France, Cuba and Uruguay) have worked on different theatrical projects for a long time 15 years.
