Guns N 'Roses will release a deluxe box set of Appetite for Destruction
It was the album that catapulted them to stardom worldwide and even today it still sounds fresh and forceful. It is neither more nor less than Appetite for destruction, the most significant album of Guns n´ Roses, that now prepares a luxury box set with unreleased material from that album.
Released July 1987, The record set the record for being the best-selling debut album by any band in history., with a figure that exceeded 30 million copies worldwide.
Driven by hits like "Paradise city", “Welcome to the jungle”, “Sweet child o´mine” o “Rocket queen”, the record became legendary and now, to almost 31 years of its launch, will return and with several surprises, en un box set titulado “Locked n’ loaded”.
At first, the article is more than significant, not only for lovers of the group led by Axl Rose, but for any collector, since it is a handmade box made of leather and wood.
However, containing? In total there will be four CDs, a Blu-ray, two deluxe edition CDs, two vinyls of 180 grams, a remastered CD plus all the material available in streaming and digital download, among other various things.
Total, will be close to 50 Unpublished songs, more B sides and other oddities. In total there will be 73 the songs distributed on the four CDs and seven vinyls that the box contains, that will be on sale from 29 of June.
As advance also, the band posted a video for the song "Shadow of your love", recorded in 1986.
On the other hand there will be more collection material of the group, with a book of 96 pages with unpublished photos from Axl Rose's own archive and twelve new lithographs illustrating each of the songs on the album. The original Appetite for destruction will also be in the box, on two remastered vinyl plus an EP from “Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide”, a second EP with B-sides of the time, 25 unreleased recordings of the band's sessions in 1986 en Sound City Studios, and two previously unreleased tracks from the sessions with producer Mike Clink.
