Suicidal Tendencies returns to Argentina after eight years

The legendary hardcore punk band, Suicidal Tendencies, will return to Argentina on 8 November for a presentation at the Flores Theater.

Led by its founder and vocalist Mike Muir, The band promises a complete review of the successes that have consolidated it as a reference on the scene.

Tickets for the show are now available through Passline and at outlets such as Fade to Black (Bond St.), Metalmania (Center), Liverpool (Belgrano), Bad Diffusion and Noiseground Store (both in Almagro), Xelcambio Records (tents), Crazy things (Hummock), Spawn Store (Wilde) and Xennon (Quilmes and La Plata).

Pioneer of thrash crossover, Suicidal Tendencies has gained recognition for its provocative style and energy on stage.. The current lineup features former Slipknot drummer, Jay Weinberg, and Tye Trujillo on bass, son of Rob Trujillo (Metallica). Complete the Dean Pleasants group, long-time guitarist in the band, along with Ben Weinman, former member of Dillinger Escape Plan.

On this visit, Suicidal Tendencies will include classics like “Lights” in its setlist… Camera… Revolution!” (1990), “Join the Army” (1987) and their self-titled debut album 1983, among others. Through their networks, the band shared their enthusiasm for returning to the country: “We are very happy to announce our return after 8 years. We thank our ST family for their constant support over the years”.

From their first album in 1983, with the emblematic “Institutionalized”, The band has left its mark on genres such as punk, thrash and hardcore, always maintaining Muir's direction. With almost 45 years of experience and 14 studio albums, among which his latest release stands out, “Still Cyco Punk After All These Years” (2018), Suicidal Tendencies is today a hardcore and punk institution worldwide..
