Tara Digital Collective (TDC) has just presented the online exhibition “Avatar Skin”, an individual proposal from Ver Clausi, under the curatorship of Merlina Rañi.

This virtual exhibition proposes a journey through a series of ten tokenized works by the Argentine artist, in which each piece explores a digital dimension of the skin, possible from avatar figure.

in the pieces, this extensive organ of our body, the skin, expresses itself as the limit of individuality and at the same time, as a connection interface with experience and with others.

Within that context, the series will ask about the relationship between individuality and community, as well as the construction of a multiple subjectivity on the digital plane. Mix of reflections that occur in See as a tattoo artist, in their work with digital tools and in their experience in virtual environments.

Through this exploration of techniques that combine photogrammetry with portraiture, the recreation of photographic resources with digital language and tattooing as a reflective practice, Avatar Skin proposes different perspectives to think about the skin: as support, as a visible organ, as an external manifestation of oneself and as a nerve surface.
