The human voice. Amateur Cinema. Super 8

Amateur version of Jean Cocteau's monologue of the same name, with the leading performance of Liliana Miño. I participate in 1979 the 4th. Paso National Film Competition “Super 8” of the Ateneo Photo Cinema Rosario.

The plot revolves around the last telephone conversation of two lovers.. The man is getting married the next day and he is leaving the woman, who goes through all human moods. This work, written in 1958, it's timeless, because it talks about loneliness, of the absence of the other, of anguish among other themes that make Jean Cocteau's work a true classic.

museum time

This cycle has been carried out since the year 2013 and presents different thematic selections around the Museum's film heritage. On this occasion it will be projected:

The notebook

Dino Minitti directed 1959 this short film filmed entirely in Lugano with non-professional actors. The result is quite remarkable, firstly for the record of a space and a way of inhabiting it that today few remember, but the film is full of original editing gestures that give meaning and grace to the narration and manage to make up for the obvious technical problems in sound capture.. Later, in 1965, Minitti directed the feature film The Meeting, adaptation of The Taximeter, story by Juan José Saer, first time that someone took the difficult Saerian material to the cinema.

Beaches

This summer the Cinema Museum presents a special dedicated to the beaches of Buenos Aires. Four short films that record one of the favorite ways of vacationing for Argentines at different times of the 20th century in the resorts of Mar del Plata, Miramar, Pinamar and Villa Gesell.
