In this way, Argentina has the same powers as full members, except for decisions concerning the Fund's policy.

Created in 1988 based in Strasbourg, France, Eurimages is a fund 25 million that has developed four funding programs: assistance for co-production, the distribution, cinemas and supporting digitization projects funded. It is composed of 37 European countries, with Canada and now Argentina as the only non-European countries in the Fund. Among other activities, Eurimages has developed the "Aiming for program 50/50 for 2020”, a promotion policy for gender equality in the productive chain of the audiovisual industry. It is conducted by an Administrative Board composed of one representative of each Member State.
