BAphoto 2021 will open from 13 al 17 of October in the Buenos Aires property of La Rural with a face-to-face edition and close to 30 galleries that will be part of the traditional segments for emerging artists, honored, young and consecrated.

The BAphoto 2020, for pandemic reasons, it was done in digital format, which forced the organizers to rethink some questions “and this year we return to the presence with fresh ideas and, spatially, eager to meet enthusiasts of the photographic medium”, shared by Diego Costa Peuser, fair director, and Instagram.

Buenos Aires Photo is one of the most important art fairs specialized in photography in Latin America. Since its emergence in 2005, works to promote the development of photography within the artistic field and enhance its production internationally.

With 16 years of experience, the fair has managed to become a point of reference for Latin American photography and a meeting place for artists, curators, critics, specialized journalists and new collectors increasingly interested in this medium.

Since the year 2016 BAphoto takes place in the historic La Rural stables pavilion, the fairground of the city of Buenos Aires, located on avenida Sarmiento 2704.

“This change is the result of the fair's sustained growth through 12 uninterrupted years, which allows adding new protagonists and expanding its presence in the international artistic field”, organizers said. (TELAM)
