A new edition of the Ventana Sur cycle began
The 15th edition of Ventana Sur, the main audiovisual market in Latin America, It started this Monday and will last until 1 from December. Organized by INCAA and the Marché du Film of the Cannes Film Festival, the event seeks to promote co-production, financing and international distribution of Latin American content.
At the opening, Nicolas Batlle, President of the INCAA, express: “With this edition we celebrate fifteen years sharing the growth of the Latin American audiovisual industry”. Thierry fremaux, director of the Cannes Film Festival, praised the joint work of Argentina and France, receiving recognition for 15 years of collaboration.
With Guillaume Esmiol as new CEO, Ventana Sur brings together more than 3500 participants, including 250 international buyers. Offers business rounds, pitching, round tables and various activities, highlighting the Commercial Intelligence panel that presented a study to strengthen the sector's exports.
Nicolás Batlle stressed the importance of the study, highlighting its positive impact on the audiovisual industry. Juan Ignacio Crosta Blanco from BlueNote Management Consulting highlighted the objective of promoting exports and attracting international productions to Argentina.
South Window, through its various sections and activities, promotes Latin American content of all genres. The event seeks to strengthen ties in the industry, generate new productions and strengthen regional co-productions, thereby expanding distribution and exhibition opportunities.
