The fourth edition of the Medifé Filba Foundation Award has its winner
The novel “The Eye of Goliath” by Diego Muzzio emerged as the undisputed winner of the fourth edition of the Medifé Filba Foundation Award.
Equipped with 1.200.000 of pesos as prize, the work -published by Editorial Entropía- weaves an intriguing plot that explores the delicate balance between sanity and madness through the encounter between a psychiatrist and a patient.
The judge, composed by Federico Falco, Betina González and María Moreno, highlighted Muzzio's mastery in fusing genres, from terror to adventure, to offer a narrative that delves into the presence of Evil throughout History. Set in settings as diverse as the trenches of World War I, frozen Patagonia and a lighthouse ravaged by birds, The novel captivates with its elegance and ability to capture a wide audience. “The Eye of Goliath” is not only a literary work, but a treatise on human complexity that will resonate with readers long after they close its pages.
