Cervantes announced the selected projects of Produce in the Country
In the last few hours, the Cervantes National Theater announced the list of projects that were selected within the framework of the Produce in the Country program.
These titles will be part of the federal program and will be present in the national programming this season headed by the traditional Buenos Aires venue..
As detailed from Cervantes, in total they were presented 66 Projects, of which four were chosen by the external curatorship made up of Julieta Daga (Córdoba), Mark Acevedo (Tucumán) and Veronica Olarieta (Santa Cruz) and the internal one in charge of the coordinator of the Federal Program, Dora Milea, and the director and deputy director of the TNC (2023), Gladis Contreras and Jorge Dubatti.
The first of the chosen projects is “Like foam of corso berreta”, a creation from Salta, whose version and direction correspond to Natalia Aparicio, who was based on “Polixena and the little cook” by Alfonsina Storni.
“Darwin's Leap” was the second text selected, written by Sergio Blanco and directed by Silvia Araujo. This proposal comes from Chubut, more precisely from the town of Rada Tilly, belonging to Comodoro Rivadavia.
From Posadas, Misiones arrives “This Juan Moreira”, the third text chosen by the curatorship. The project is a free version by Carina Noemberg, which was born from the classic “Juan Moreira” by Eduardo Gutiérrez and José Podesta, directed by Carlos Bastarrechea.
Finally, “Pocket Romeo and Juliet” was the last text chosen, written by Emiliano Dionisi and directed by Hernesto Mussano.
It should be remembered that TNC Produce in the country is an initiative of the historic Theater, in order to give visibility and promotion to local talents from different parts of Argentina.
