The "Banco Ciudad Award for the Performing Arts" added new winners
Together, the Theater Complex of Buenos Aires (CTBA) and Banco Ciudad announced the new batch of projects that were selected for the "Banco Ciudad Award for Performing Arts".
On the other hand, the initiative - as a result of the success of the call- expanded the scope of the award by adding ten new winners.
Within the framework of this proposal, which aims to promote and accompany the performing arts of the independent circuit, Enrique Avogadro -minister of culture of the City- and Jorge Telerman-general and artistic director of the CTBA-, together with Guillermo Laje and Fernando Elias, respectively president and vice president of Banco Ciudad, presented the new winners of this open call that integrates and articulates various makers of the scene: artists, creative teams, filmmakers, producers and cultural spaces.
Due to the number of proposals submitted and their high artistic level, and taking into account the difficult situation that the sector is going through due to the effects of the pandemic, CTBA and Banco Ciudad decided to expand the initial scope of the award, adding ten more projects.
This initiative is part of the Open Culture program, Call for cultural makers of the City, whose objective is to accompany a great diversity of ideas and cultural artistic projects so that they can be protagonists of the culture of the City.
