Virtual meetings for International Museum Day

On the occasion of celebrating the International Museum Day that will take place on 18 of May, the Ministry of Culture of the Nation and EUNIC Buenos Aires present the online meeting “So far, so close. Projects to approximate distances in the museums of Europe and Argentina”.

In that context, directors of six museums in Argentina, Slovenia, Spain and France will discuss community bonding in distance contexts from the 11 (Argentina hour) and in collaboration with the Cultural Center of Spain in Buenos Aires, French alliance, the Slovenian Embassy in Argentina and the participating museums.

La directora del Ice Palace, Feda Baeza, will talk with Aleš Vautopič from Moderna galerija (Museum of Modern Art / Contemporary Art Museum) from Ljubljana, Slovenia. Likewise, Juan Ignacio Muñoz, director of the José Antonio Terry de Tilcara Museum, dialogará con Olivier Cogne of the Dauphinois Museum of Grenoble, France.

Meanwhile, Vicky Salías, director of the Museum of the History of the Costume of Buenos Aires, will talk with Helena López from the Madrid Costume Museum, Spain.

The day will be moderated by Marisa Baldasarre, National Director of Museums of the Ministry of Culture of the Nation, Argentina.
