Infidelities small is the new work of Mario Diament, starring Marcela Ferradás and Horacio Peña, reflecting common situations, lived in the daily life of couples. Is the story of two people who, Having met 20 years of his divorce, They meet their faces by chance and start talking., without knowing that this talk will turn into an investigation regarding their failed relationship.

Construction site, which has been very well received by the public, It is directed by Manuel González Gil and can be seen in El Tinglado (Mario Bravo 948), in its two Saturday performances, to 20 Y 22 hours.

“Since the beginning of the work the balance has been very good”, Horacio Peña tells La Vereda, who details: “We are filling with very good results and good returns from people”.

According to the actor, This show offers the possibility of considering everyday situations and reflecting. “I think that one of the merits that theater can have is to provoke questions. I think it's the best thing that can happen when you go to a show.. People return it since the topic is something to talk about during dinner, with the concerns that remain; so that's good for us. Little Infidelities is a work to reflect on.”.

Peña maintains that “we had a good time with Marcela on stage. We have worked wonderfully well, both with Manuel González Gil and with our producer. Everything was very round so that everything was very pleasant, "what this job should be like.".

What is the main axis of the work?

I believe that the theme of this work is universal because, who else, who least, We have all been to one of the places this couple has been.. So, at times restless, at times it amuses and at times it anguishes.

It seems to me that if one sees oneself reflected in works that were written ago 500 years, like any Shakespeare text, that somewhere it touches you because it leads you to personal things, How can you not see yourself reflected in a contemporary work that also talks about the couple as a more universal theme?.

What was the most attractive thing for you when choosing the role??

What seduced me most about the work was the possibility of working with Marcela, to do something just the two of us. We just came from doing Death and the Maiden, work in which there were three of us. further, talking about relationship conflicts.

Also the work, the author, which is very consecrated...a set of things happened. The producer came to see us here, to finish convincing us to do it. I say, You don't decide on just one thing when you choose something to do.. There are a bunch of things going around that you are not aware of at the time you make the choice., but then the chips start falling.

Does experience cause things to be added to the text?

We worked with Manuel and corrected many things. We took out and put some, all situations that happened to us. It's not that we had a hand in the preparation of the work, because it would be disrespectful to Mario. We corrected some words, some turns. Anyway, The theater gives you the possibility of keeping secret what things, in this case, They belong to me or Marcela.

How has working with Manuel been??

It has been a discovery, because I had never had the chance to work with him. Yes I knew many of their shows that I have seen them and, Of course, I knew him from seeing us, beyond having had no previous relationship.

It was a very pleasant discovery.. Manuel is one of those directors who, as Norma Aleandro said, “One acting has to arrive with one's homework done”, And that goes for both the director and the actors.. Manuel is one of those who does his homework, and I say it with admiration. Comes with the work thought, He doesn't come to see what happens. He comes with the work planned and communicates his ideas to you. Allow you to talk about your ideas, because it is permeable to modifications. Listen and look very well, both the scene and the play and that is precious for an actor, because it's like feeling a containment net. For both Marcela and me it was a very pleasant experience..

After years of experience, Is there a tingle before going on stage?

Particularly it didn't happen to me even when I debuted, it's been more than 40 years. I never had nerves before the show. I think the only safe place is on stage. There is more danger on the street than on stage.

I never had that tingling or got nervous during a performance or a premiere. On the contrary, I have the anxiety to demonstrate. I want to prove in front of the public that, definitely, is the last to receive what we did during rehearsals.

I had colleagues who suffered a lot from a premiere, and when I say these it is that they were truly distressed.

With this I do not mean that it is better or worse. It happens that different things happen every day, there are different eyes, There is a different breath in the theater and one is also different. That is, All days are different.
