The Mississippi inaugurates the 2021 with a concert in Works
The Mississippi just announced its first show of the year, which will take place in the mythical Obras Sanitarias stadium and which will be held in person and via streaming.
The appointment will be 29 January from 21, moment when the renowned local blues group returns to perform in the traditional venue located on Avenida del Libertador 7395, place you first visited in December 2002.
Now, almost 20 years later, the band made up of Ricardo Tapia, Claudio Cannavò, Gustavo Ginoi, Juan Carlos Tordó and Gastón Picazo will give a face-to-face show and also in online format, with tickets that are already available through the Passline platform.
More than 30 years of career and 15 albums to his credit, The quintet formed by Florencio Varela has played throughout the entire Argentine territory and in neighboring countries such as Paraguay, Uruguay and Brazil, and in Spain and Colombia, participating in national and international festivals.
During its trajectory the band shared the stage with legendary exponents of blues and world rock such as BB King, Eric Clapton, John Mayall y Creedence Clearwater Revival, among others. In november 2018 celebrated his 30 years at Luna Park.
