Recently the Borges Cultural Center presented "Fulgurations", the exhibition belonging to the multifaceted artist Renata Schussheim, which will remain open until 2 of June.

This new setting of the artist, designer and sculpture can be seen on the second floor of the traditional Buenos Aires venue, where the public will have the opportunity to see a series of sculptures and photographs intervened by Schussheim.

This exhibition was inaugurated through an act that was attended by the Minister of Culture, Tristan Bauer; the Secretary of Cultural Management of the Nation, Frederick Prieto; the undersecretary of Space Management and Special Projects of the Kirchner Cultural Center, Martín Bonavetti; the president of the National Endowment for the Arts, Diana Saiegh; the director of Borges, Ezequiel Grimson and the director of Tecnópolis, Maria Rossenfeld, among other authorities.

Schussheim's sample, "Flashes", ranges from the glass dome of the Plaza de las Artes, where you can see nine sculptural athletes swimming in the air in their aerial dance, weightless and silent form a golden spiral, which refers to those described, centuries ago, by Leonardo of Pisa also known as Fibonacci.

The freedom and luminosity of these figures, made in 3D technology, mutates to a darker universe, playful and sinister when entering the main room of the Berni Pavilion. There are exhibited 22 black and white photographs that Renata found on the Internet and intervened by hand. strange images, printed in large size, in which people dressed as Bears are seen with girls, children or families.

The bridge between these two worlds is built by the three small sculptures- one of a lone polar bear and two of the swimmers- performed by Schussheim . A continuous video accompanies the experience, in slow motion, of a giant wave about to break. The soundtrack of the room and the video is by Damián Laplace.

The exhibition has a team made up of Romina Del Prete (Executive production), Mario Astutti (realization 3D sculptures), Hernan Giant (photographic print), Damian Laplace (soundtrack), Roberto Traferri (illumination), Matías Otalora (video) and Martin Gorricho (graphic design).

This exhibition can be enjoyed freely and for free, Wednesday to Sunday from 14 a 20 hours.
