The exhibition "Real Fictions" can now be seen at the CCK

Within the framework of the fourth edition of the Bienalsur, the exhibition "Real Fictions" arrived at the Kirchner Cultural Center, where you can enjoy freely and for free.

Curated by Diana Wechsler and Benedetta Casini, this exhibition simultaneously develops eleven projects in different museums and cultural spaces of the City of Buenos Aires, and includes a wide selection of works.

As stated in a statement, the sample results in "a search to review the ways in which information is produced, circulates and contributes to build senses, the work of the artists seeks to contribute to critical reflection on the stories and their presumption of neutrality”.

The Minister of Culture of the Nation gathered at the opening ceremony, Tristan Bauer; the Director of Programming and Planning, Liliana Pineapple; the Undersecretary of Management of Spaces and Special Projects, Martín Bonavetti; the vice-chancellor of the University of Tres de Febrero, director of Bienalsur and one of the curators of the exhibition, Diana Wechsler; and the rector of the University of Tres de Febrero, Hannibal Jozami. As well, the curator Benedetta Casini who developed her work together with Wechsler and a large community of artists.

According to the words of Diana Wechsler about the Bienalsur, "What we seek is to build spaces for thought and claim the sovereignty of interpretation".

Within this context, he maintained that "the spectator is an emancipated subject, that he edits according to his journey, their experiences and perceptions. 'Real Fictions' seeks to open new perspectives to evaluate and think about the present, not only in the discourses that circulate but also in the construction of meaning”.

The artists that are part of this exhibition are C. Brambilla and Society of friends and benefactors of the arts of Cañada Rosquín, Adriana Bustos, Daniel Canogar, Jordi Colomer, Daniela Comani, edward coast, Roberto Jacoby and Raúl Escari, Magnetic Declination, Etc, Harun Farocki, Joan Fontcuberta, Dora Garcia, gabriel garcilaso, Voluspa Jarpa, Fabio Kacero, Ali Kazma, Jose Luis Landet, Marta Minujín, Antoni Muntadas, Marie Orensanz, Daniela Ortiz, Liliana Porter, Christian Segura, Tucumán Arde and Santiago Villanueva.
