In the last hours, the Amazon Prime platform confirmed the release date of “Maradona: Blessed dream ", the long-awaited series inspired by the life of the soccer star who died in November.

The long-awaited production based on Diego Armando Maradona will hit the screen on 29 October, date on which "Pelusa" would have met 61 years.

The actors who will recreate the different stages of the life of the Ten are three: Nazareno Casero, Juan Palomino and Nicolás Goldschmidt. Regarding the chapters, will premiere one episode a week.

This production will be seen in more than 240 countries and will surely become one of the most important proposals of the streaming services platform.

The filming took place in different parts of Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, Spain and Italy. further, scenes were filmed in stadiums such as La Bombonera and El Azteca, where the mythical footballer became world champion in 1986.

As for the rest of the cast, will feature figures such as Mercedes Morán and Rita Cortese, in the role of Doña Tota; Pepe Monje and Claudio Rissi, as Don Diego; and Laura Esquivel and Julieta Cardinali, as Claudia Villafañe.

They are also Leonardo Sbaraglia, as Guillermo Coppola; Peter Lanzani , as Jorge Cyterszpiller; Marcelo Mazzarello, in the role of Carlos Bilardo; Darío Grandinetti, like César Menotti; and Nicolás Furtado, as Daniel Passarella, among others, under the direction of Alejandro Aimetta.

It should be noted that this series began to be thought long before Maradona's death, who had even given the go-ahead for its realization.
