"Weather", "Energy", “This is light” and an exhibition dedicated to the Catalinas Sur theater group will be the new visual arts proposals at Usina del Arte.

With free entry, These exhibitions can be appreciated from Tuesday to Sunday –and also on holidays- in the traditional venue located in the neighborhood of La Boca.

First, "Outdoors" is an exhibition by the artist Carlos Gómez Centurión that is located within the framework of the Bienal Sur.

It is a large site-specific installation that reflects the inspiration that the mountains and hills of San Juan meant for the artist., native of those lands.

Under the curatorship of Carlos Herrera, The exhibition will remain open until Monday. 10 of September.

Meanwhile, "Energía" is a rhythmic intervention belonging to the artist Román Vilati, who proposes an articulation of three systems in a geometric mural.

Through this realization, the artist composes a chromatic symphony that follows a sequential mathematical rhythm exploring the relationships between the different systems and the architecture of space.

Another of the exhibitions is "This is Light", created by the Manglar collective from Mendoza. This sample takes as a reference the design of industrial chimneys.

Under that concept, the installation proposes an analogy between the electrical production, essential for technical development, and artistic production, essential for cognitive development.

By last, the 15 August will be the opening of the exhibition in the Laberinto room that celebrates the 40 years of the creation of the theater group Catalinas Sur, that narrates its history and its present, alive and dynamic, in the heart of La Boca.
