Registration to be part of the Buenos Aires BAFICI Independent Film Festival recently ended., which will take place between Wednesday 17 and Sunday 28 of April.

It's all about editing 25 of the traditional Buenos Aires meeting, one of the most important cultural events that takes place in the City.

More than 2800 film productions nominated for the open call, BAFICI closed the registration process. Regarding this call, had productions originating from 96 countries and 999 films of national origin.

The event features three divisions of competition: the Official International Competition, the Official Argentine competition and the official Vanguardia y Género competition. In each case, A panel made up of five judges selected by the Festival committee will evaluate the following categories: Best Performance, special jury recognition, optimal direction, best short film, best feature film and the outstanding jury award. Likewise, The contest includes various non-competing sections - equally anticipated by the audience and experts in the field- where the wide range of national and international cinema is exhibited.

The BAFICI, recognized internationally for his contribution to independent cinema, explores and gives visibility to the great variety of cinematographic art, combining emerging talents and new trends with films by directors with great experience.
