New edition of The Night of the Bookstores in the City

With axis in democracy, A special edition of The Night of the Bookstores arrives in the City, traditional meeting that gathers readers, booksellers and authors in an open-air circuit.

Within the framework of the “Road to the 40 years of democracy, the Ministry of Culture of the City promotes a proposal that combines readings, artistic workshops and performances.

The appointment will be on Saturday 15 October from 18 on Corrientes Avenue, between Cerrito and Callao Avenue. It should be remembered that the previous edition summoned more than 90 a thousand people.

This classic proposal carried out by the Buenos Aires Culture area, is an initiative that values ​​dialogue, respect, education and freedom of expression in a circuit in which the book converges with various cultural and artistic genres, like writing, music, poetry and film. It is a night that seeks to highlight the principles of coexistence and diversity with a firm look at the construction of our future for and with all generations..

In total there will be over 50 the activities, with different performances and alternate spaces. The stages, that will bear names alluding to The Night of the Bookstores, will be arranged as follows:

– Estela Figueroa stage: Of. Corrientes 1199 (esq. Freedom)

– Antonio Di Benedetto series: Of. Corrientes 1299 (esq. Talcahuano)

– Screenplay by Vlada Kociancich: Of. Corrientes 1399 (esq. Uruguay)

– Escenario Ernesto Sabato: Of. Corrientes 1499 (esq. Paraná)

– Quino Scenario: Of. Corrientes 1599 (esq. Montevideo)

– Sylvia Molloy Stage: Of. Corrientes 1699 (esq. Rodriguez Pena).

Among the outstanding activities there will be a Cultural Pass space; areas in which democratic issues are addressed; and relevant guests such as Marta Minujín, Claudia Pineyro, Eduardo Sacheri, Dario Sztajnszrajber, Diego Golombek, Luciano Lutereau, Selva Almada and Enzo Maqueira, among others.
