Between 6 and the 12 The eleventh edition of the International Animated Short Film Festival “Cartón” will take place in November, which will be presented in person and virtually.

As reported by the organization, The call for this edition was extended to 108 countries and as a consequence it will be possible to appreciate 190 short films, 132 of which are organized into six competitions: Narrative, Microcortos, Experimental, Videoclips, Series, Film/Animation students.

This Cartón edition seeks to promote the exhibition of Argentine cinema, for which it has 117 national origin productions.

The opening function will be 6 November at the Cultural Center of Science and will include the screening of the recovered short film “Between whistles and flutes” (1941), de Quirino Cristiani, presented by Raul Manrupe, Hector Christiani, John Paul Zaramella, Laura Gomez Gauna and Alejandra Portela.
