Special feature with the restored version of Pizza, beer, faso in the Gaumont
This Wednesday 4 of July, from 20.30 and free entry, the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) will carry out the special screening of the restored version of “Pizza, beer, faso”, the film by Israel Adrián Caetano and Bruno Stagnaro.
The film can be seen at the INCAA Cine Gaumont Space, and will have the presence of the director Nicolás Amelio Ortiz and the composer of the film's music, Leo Sujatovich. The screening is provided within the framework of the CINE.AR cycle, in which the last Wednesday of each month a classic of the national cinema is presented.
Starring Héctor Anglada, Jorge Sesán and Pamela Jordán, the film focuses on the story of a young man who lives with his three friends and his pregnant wife in a house located in the City of Buenos Aires.
Young people live off theft, but always depending on someone who employs them and who always ends up taking most of the loot. But nevertheless, the philosophy of life of the group is that as long as they do not lack pizza, beer and cigarettes, everything is bearable.
Regarding restoration, the tape will be viewed in 4K, carried out by the Plan Recover DAC / Gotika, in Buenos Aires, with the supervision of Bruno Stagnaro, Israel Adrián Caetano and Marcelo Lavintman. This version was presented at the 32nd Mar del Plata International Film Festival, twenty years after its premiere.
