Roger Waters says goodbye to the stage and announced a date in the country
Historic bassist and founding member of Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, recently announced the departure from the stage with a world tour that will have him playing again in the country.
Until now, only one date has been reported in Argentina and it will be the 21 November at the River Stadium, with tickets that will go on sale this Monday 8 May from 10.
It should be noted that these locations will only be offered as an exclusive pre-sale for Banco Santander American Express customers during 48 hours and through the AllAccess system. Later they will be for the general public.
Waters in this way will return to the country with his tour after 11 year absence, moment in which he carried out 9 historical concerts, number only recently surpassed by Coldplay. “This is not a drill” is the name of the tour of the musician who, as usual, will have a unique stage performance and state-of-the-art technology.
In his repertoire, Roger Waters will perform Pink Floyd songs as well as some of his solo material.
Waters canta, play the guitar, bass and piano, and will be accompanied on stage by Jonathan Wilson on guitar and vocals, Dave Kilminster on guitar and vocals, Jon Carin on keyboards, guitar and vocals, Gus Seyffert on bass and vocals, Robert Walter on keyboards, Joey Waronker on drums, Amanda Belair on vocals and Seamus Blake on sax.
