The show "The human voice" will give its only function on Monday 25 October on stage at the Empire Theater, under the musical direction of Silvana D´Onofrio.

from 17 and with tickets that are available through the Alternative system and at the box office of the enclosure located on Hipólito Yrigoyen 1934, the work will be carried out within the framework of the "Buenos Aires 2021 ART Deco Week", organized by AdbA Art Deco - ACAPA.

This lyrical tragedy is performed by the soprano Elisa Calvo and its plot revolves around a young woman who realizes that her lover is abandoning her and this situation has led her to attempt suicide.

As the French libretto by Jean Cocteau explains, "For a long time she talks on the phone with her lover, who understands lost; surely, will be your last dialogue, because he knows that he will marry the next day ".

In that context, "His words are those of a lover who understands she has been betrayed; does it without coherence, evokes the past, happy days, knowingly lies by not evoking or even touching the decided abandonment, clings to the slightest hint of what he thinks may be a hope, but, in a certain moment, exalts, freaks out, suffers, cries out its terrible bitterness. Then it calms down, only in appearance, because when he understands the inevitable and definitive of the rupture, leave the phone to fall on the bed vanished ".
