Open the call for the Bariloche Audiovisual Festival 2020

The eighth edition of the Bariloche Audiovisual Festival (FAB) will have its virtual edition and recently opened the call for all those producers who wish to present their projects.

Organized by the Culture area of ​​the Government of Río Negro, the FAB is a meeting for audiovisual producers from Patagonia, the country and the southern regions of Chile. It will take place from 7 al 13 December in virtual mode.

This year the Festival, which has the support of the Federal Investment Council (CFI) and the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA), It will be developed under a virtual and blended modality due to the health emergency caused by COVID-19.

In this eighth edition there will be 11 sections in competition and more than one million two hundred thousand pesos will be awarded in prizes. Those who wish to participate will have time to register until 30 October via http website://festivalfab.com.ar/

In this way the FAB, will once again become a meeting point for sharing, seek consensus, debate and discuss about cinema, as well as regarding new challenges and changes to come.

This initiative plays a fundamental role in Rio Negro audiovisual work since it guarantees the exhibition of Argentine and world films, and promotes the creation of new screens and audiences. It also favors the growth of the local and regional industry through the meeting of all those who make up the audiovisual sector.
