Organized jointly by Construir TV and the UOCRA Social Network, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the City, A new edition of the Construir Cine meeting arrives.

From 13 and up 29 of May, This cycle will allow us to appreciate –free and free of charge through the Vivamos Cultura platforms., OctoberTV, Build Cinema, Cont Ar and Lumiton- a total of 44 feature films, divided into six categories.

This will be the eighth edition of a Festival that is also international and featured more than 2500 works registered through the FilmFreeWay and FestHome platforms.

In total, realizations of 35 countries, of which 44 were selected to integrate one of the 6 official categories that reflect the reality and the gaze of the workers of Argentina and the world. The program also includes special activities every day (starting at 17 hours).

The film that will kick off the festival will be “Retiros (In) Volunteers" (from 17), by Argentine director Sandra Gugliotta and can be seen until Sunday 16, inclusive.

In addition to the screening of the film, there will be a virtual ceremony that will be attended by the Buenos Aires Minister of Culture, Enrique Avogadro and there will also be an open conference with the filmmaker.

The presentation of this production is made thanks to the support of PAMPA 2030 (Argentine Platform for Monitoring the Agenda 2030) and UNDP (United Nations Development Program).

It is worth adding that this year it will also have a "Polish Film Spotlight" with a total of 6 feature films and 12 shorts by the prestigious East European director Wojciech Staroń, who was a standard bearer of the fight for social rights.
