The National Historical museums, Avoid, Malvinas and the Historical House of Independence return to offer a wide cultural offer in person to the entire public.

These museums are added to the Fine Arts, Recorded, decorative art, Alta Gracia Jesuit Ranch (Córdoba), Historic North (Salta) y Terry (Jujuy) that had already been opened to the public under strict sanitary protocols.

Historical Museum of Independence

Located in the province of Tucumán, opened its doors to the public since yesterday and will remain open from Thursday to Sunday from 9 a 13 and of 15 a 19, with the traveling exhibition Randa Witness. This has the collaboration of the Secretariat of Extension of the National University of Tucumán and is exhibited in two venues: the Historical House National Museum of Independence and the Cultural Center "Eugenio Flavio Virla".

Randa Witness presents the different aspects of the textile practice of the randa, woven mesh that was declared of intangible heritage cultural interest by the Cultural Entity of Tucumán in 2015 and that is embroidered by a group of women from the rural commune of El Cercado, Monteros department, Tucumán province.

National historical museum

This museum awaits the public, from saturday 17, con la exhibición Panorama Cándido, with an important collection of works by the artist Cándido López along with objects from the war of the Triple Alliance (1864-1870) and Life and Beauty of the Pre-Hispanic Andes, the archaeological collection of the artist Nicolás García Uriburu. The samples of the National Historic Site can be visited from Thursdays to Sundays from 11 a 19 in the museum facilities, located on Defensa street 1600. The entrance will be in order of arrival and respecting the current capacity.
