The passion of football comes to the new exhibition of the Historical Museum
This Thursday 22 December will arrive at the National Historical Museum the exhibition "Passion of Multitudes", an exhibition that will reflect one of our greatest cultural expressions since its inception.
The exhibition will narrate Argentine soccer from its origins and for that the viewer will be able to enjoy more than 100 shirts of different clubs and the national team, pellets, ankle boots, glasses, medals, Photographs, videos, figurines, sheet music, credentials, parts of old stadiums and several surprises in an unmissable proposal, not only for the law footballer.
With free entry, The exhibition can be seen from Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a 19 hours until 31 August in the enclosure located on Defensa 1500, in the neighborhood of San Telmo.
The story will begin with the Alumni club, emblem of amateur sport back in the early days of 1900. The growth of the national team will also be covered, since that jacket that Onzari used when he scored the first Olympic goal in 1924 to the one used by Lio Messi himself during the World Cup in Brazil in 2014.

Of course, the tour will have a special room, dedicated to Diego Armando Maradona, historical emblem of national football. It contemplates t-shirts and other objects belonging to the star, plus a mural by the Maradonean artist SanSpiga.

Gabriel Better, The director of the traditional venue explained that this slogan was chosen for the new exhibition because "soccer is a central cultural and sporting expression for Argentina. Next year they will be fulfilled 130 years of the first championship, and therefore it is a very long and interesting story to tell it in a serious way, how does this museum, and putting together a very attractive heritage that allows us to understand the richness that this game has for national history”.
Di Meglio adds that "the aim of the show is twofold: on the one hand, invite those who like soccer to review the history of the sport, surprise them with unknown data and surprise them with some very significant pieces, as well as entertain those who are not soccer enthusiasts but do enjoy an exhibition armed with the seriousness and professionalism that distinguishes the National Historical Museum" and on the other "many people who have not come to the Museum discover it and also get to know our other collections, our exhibitions focused above all on the Argentine history of the 19th century”.
