For three unique features, the Contemporary Ballet of the San Martín Theater will present the show “Cantata” at the Presidente Alvear Theater.

This setting, belonging to the Italian choreographer Mauro Bigonzetti will be presented this Friday 10 of November, Saturday 11 (both functions from 20 hours) and Sunday 12 (starting at 19).

The original and traditional music is from the ASSURD Group + Enza Pagliara and Enza Alessandra Prestia, those who recover and update the tradition of southern Italy. The costume replacement is by Lula Rojo, the lighting restoration by Gabriel Tobares and Eduardo Gauna, Helena de Medeiros' costume design, lighting design by Carlo Cerri and choreography assistance by Roberto Zamorano.

It is worth noting that this show was made as a co-production with the Istituto Italiano de Cultura and the Teatro Coliseo, within the framework of the Italia XXI cycle.

The dancers who will be part of this proposal are Constanza Agüero, Brenda Arana, Camila Arechavaleta, Adriel Ballatore, Lucia Bargados, John Camargo, Carolina Capriati, Matías Coria, Francisco de Assis, Matías De Cruz, Flavia Dilorenzo, Lautaro dolz, Rodrigo Etelechea, Fiorella Federico, Paula Ferraris, Gaston Gomez, Darcio Gonçales, Jonás Grassi, Alejo herrera, Daniela lopez, Vicente Manzoni, David Millán, Boris pereyra, Silvina Perez, Eliana Picallo, Andrea Pollini, Eve preacher, lara rodriguez, Ruben Rodriguez, Damian Saban, Ivana Santaella, Manuela Suárez Poch and Antonella Zanutto.

Regarding “Cantata”, It is a choreography that bustles with the typical and vibrant colors of southern Italy.. It is an instinctive and vital dance, whose passionate and visceral gestures evoke the style of beauty of the Mediterranean.
