In 1983 the show “El gran circo” arrived on the stages of the San Martín Theater, by Ariel Bufano. Years later, the work that is currently part of the historical archive of the site located on Corrientes Avenue, returns to be enjoyed online.

Directed by the distinguished Adelaida Mangani, the work can be seen this Saturday 15 -from August 20- through the platform "Cultura en Casa" and on the official site of the Buenos Aires Theater Complex (CTBA).

The public will be able to enjoy the staging made by the Group of Puppeteers of the San Martín Theater in 2013, on the stage of the Martín Coronado room.

The cast is made up of Victoriano Alonso, Ariadna Bufano, Myrna Cabrera, Eleonora Dafcik, Valeria Galindez, Silvia Galvan, Lara Liebenthal, Celeste Lopez, Mabel Marrone, Lucila Mastrini, Johanna Mizrahi, Fernando Morando, Carlos Peláez, Mariano Pichetto, Esteban Quintana, Christopher Varela. The musical selection is by Adelaida Mangani, puppet design, set design and costumes by Maydée Arigós, and the lighting design by Lito Pastrán and Miguel Morales.

"El gran circo" was one of the great successes of the Argentine theater, being one of the most convoking and serving, also, as a true tribute thought by the sanrafaelino director to the pioneers of the national theater, the Podestá.

This show is made up of traditional circus numbers (abilities, acrobatics, jugglers, clowns, trained animals, tightrope walkers and trapeze artists), all done thanks to the magic of the puppets.
