The Mar Dulce Gallery presents the exhibition of watercolors by Julián Pesce
“Contention” is the name of the next exhibition that will open at the Mar Dulce Gallery, with a series of delicate watercolors belonging to the artist Julián Pesce.
The exhibition will officially open on Saturday 13 July from the 16 hours in the traditional Buenos Aires venue located on Uriarte 1490. It will remain open until the 31 of August.
With free entry, The public will be able to enjoy a series made up of some 30 small works, made on paper. Next to it there will be an installation in the gallery window.
Through your proposal, Pesce will reflect the small details that appear in everyday life. Dogs and those who walk them, the clothes on the clothesline fluttering in the breeze. At times the watercolor flows to perfectly capture a human gesture or the essence of a canine character., in others to bring to an exquisite abstraction the prints and colors of the textiles that hang on the balconies and terraces of the streets it passes through.. His works lead us to notice all the beauty behind everyday life., if we only stop to contemplate it.
Born in Buenos Aires in 1988, Pesce graduated from UNTREF in Electronic Arts and his work has been declared of interest by the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires.
His work has been included in the XIII Volume of the History of Argentine Art by the National Academy of Fine Arts and he has held exhibitions, participated in artistic projects in Spain, Georgia, Russia, Colombia, United States and Uruguay.
