The night of the bookstores arrives with proposals throughout the city

Saturday 7 from December, of 18 a 1 hours, a new edition of The Night of the Bookstores will be held, with free activities in different parts of the City.
The event will have its epicenter on Corrientes Avenue, between Cerrito and Callao, as well as in Lavalle and Suipacha, but it will also include literary circuits in neighborhoods like San Telmo, Palermo, Villa Crespo, Colegiales and Villa Ortúzar.
Organized by the Ministry of Culture of the City within the framework of the Buenos Aires City of Books program, The day will offer more than 60 activities between readings, talks and music, in addition to discounts and benefits at nearby gastronomic establishments. Participating bookstores will extend their hours with outdoor tables, book presentations, signatures and special proposals that will be incorporated into the general program.
The event has the support of various cultural and commercial entities, like the Argentine Book Chamber (CAL), Argentina Chamber Publications (CAP), Argentine Chamber of Independent Bookstores (CALEDIN), CAPLA (Argentina Chamber of Stationers, Bookstores and Allied) Association of Friends of Corrientes Avenue, FECOBA (Federation of Commerce and Industry of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina Association Theater Company (AADET), The Book Foundation, Jorge Luis Borges International Foundation, Recoleta Cultural Center, Radio Ciudad and General Directorate of Gastronomic Development.
Thus, Corrientes Avenue will be the heart of a night that invites you to enjoy literature and culture in a unique atmosphere.
