Within the framework of the national holiday for the 25 of May, the Usina del Arte developed a grid of activities to enjoy with the family throughout the day.

With free and free access, the traditional Buenos Aires venue will offer a series of activities related to the date from 11 and even 20 hours. In this context there will be gastronomy proposals, talks, workshops, musical shows and folk dances.

Among the activities for the little ones are the art workshops, like creating a light blue and white garland installation; realization of NOA vessels with anthropomorphic figures and makeup with national colors. further, there will be a karaoke for the whole family, with folk and popular songs.

On the other hand, as part of theatrical proposals, to 12 will be Mate Dulce, a puppet show for the whole family performed by the group Cuerda Floja Teatro, which has the gaucho Abelardo as the protagonist.

At 14 will be Cinderella, antiprincesa colonial, of the Stamp Company. A new version of the classic tale inspired by Mariquita Sánchez, that revalues ​​the roots through historical data, music and funny characters.

The activities will continue to 15:30, with the musical and theatrical show for the whole family “La Primerita, folklore for children. A show to have fun, to dance, sing and learn about instruments, songs, legends and traditions.

Within the gastronomic proposals, to 13 in "Degustá Usina" the sommelier Marcela Rienzo will perform a tasting of Argentine wines, along with a talk about the importance of wine and its origins in Argentina. At 16 Juliana López May and Chula Galvez will give a cooking class to learn how to cook vegan lentil stew accompanied by a reversal of the classic cake “Pastafrola” in honor of the country.

At 16:30 in "Stories of 25 de Mayo” literature will make boys and girls travel through some stories through the colonial era. And to the 17 there will be an exhibition and open class of folk dances in the Central Patio.

Music programming will begin at 15 with Las Rvinas who will present a concert with huaynos, carnivalites, chacareras, gatos, entre otros ritmos foklóricos. At 18 Flor del Valle will give a concert with the sound of bowls, creole drums and strings.

Tabaleros will close the day, to 19, the sun of 25, a concert with a compilation of classic folklore along with its most colorful repertoire.
