The most recent creation of author and director Federico León, titled “The Times”, has inaugurated its performances at the Sarmiento Theater. this production, result of the collaboration between the Theater Complex and Zelaya, runs from Wednesday to Sunday at 20 hours.

“Los Tiempos” is characterized by bringing together fragments of all the previous works of Federico León, giving rise to a new work that offers the viewer a unique theatrical experience. From “Cachetazo de Campo” (1997) until “I write. “You draw” (2019), the public attends a collection of theatrical fragments that serve as windows to previous works, creating a kind of live “trailers” from the past.

The scenic proposal displays a series of scenes that range from a shoe war hitting a motorcycle helmet to a ping-pong table transforming into a giant computer.. Among adolescent indoctrination techniques, invented sports practices, impossible physical tests, dancing crowds and emotional moments like that of an actress who can't stop crying, “Los Tiempos” offers an experience rich in variety and creativity.

The work raises questions about how a director's themes and procedures unfold when they are aligned and combined in different ways.. “Los Tiempos” is presented as a theatrical memory machine in constant operation, always operating in present tense. through the mix, search, link, revision, repetition, reissue, condensation and reversals of fragments of previous works, the work creates unique stories.

Performances take place from Wednesday to Sunday at 20 hours and will continue until Sunday 17 from December, with a duration of 65 minutes. The cast, composed by Jimena Anganuzzi, Ignacio Rogers, Miguel Angel Olivera, Emanuel Torres, Federico Leon, Gaston Frias, Daniel Cosentino, Pablo Brignoccoli, Vicente Correa, Pablo Cernadas, Sergio Faya, Leandro Orellano, Ariel Bar-On, Ariel Ragusa, Stella Maris Isoldi, Marcelo Silva, Pablo Trimarchi, Agustin Chenaut, Santiago Zarba, Ruben Galarce, Nahuel Galarce and Leonardo Vitale.
