"Permanent Plant", by Ezequiel Radusky was awarded in Brazil
The film "Permanent Plant", national production of the director Ezequiel Radusky won two awards in the framework of the Gramado Film Festival that took place in Brazil virtually.
It's all about editing 49 of the prestigious meeting that chose Radusky's film as the most outstanding in the category "Best Foreign Film of the Critics' Jury" as well as the "Special Jury Prize".
Regarding this latest award, was given for dealing with "issues so present in our society such as the consequences of a corrupt system and that directly affect human values" and "for the interpretations of female protagonists who represent the strength of Latin women in our cinema".
This production has a plot that revolves around the path of two public employees who work as cleaning personnel in one of the many state agencies and who found a way of subsistence with the management of a dining room, irregularly armed in an abandoned corner of the building where they work.
The film features performances by Rosario Bléfari (passed away last july) and Liliana Juárez with Verónica Perrotta, Sol Lugo, Nina Suarez, Horacio Camandulle and Pedro Palomar.
While, “Carro Rei” by Renata Pinheiro was the great winner of the Festival, by winning the awards for best film, best soundtrack, best art direction and best sound design.
