Just four days after its premiere, "The army of the dead" (Army of the dead) has become one of Netflix's biggest hits, which is why its director Zack Snyder is now ready to expand the franchise.

First, we will have the prequel to the original story, that will even have one of the protagonists of the recent premiere: Ludwig Dieter, played by Matthias Schweighöfer. As for the title of the new film, it will be "Army of Thieves" (Army of thieves).

Another of the projects that Snyder will carry out related to the film will be an animated series, titulada “Army of the dead: Lost Vegas”, which can also be seen on Netflix and promises to leave fans satisfied while the director works on the sequel to this recent hit (Was it strange that he did?).

Going back to the prequel, will be located moments before the zombie invasion, even before the transfer of the mysterious cargo by the army at the beginning of the film.

In case you haven't seen it yet - and without revealing further details- "Army of the Dead" stars Dave Bautista, who plays Scott Ward, a mercenary who is hired to form a team to steal a large sum of money hidden in a vault of one of the most prestigious hotels in Las Vegas.

"Army of thieves" will hit the platform in September of this year and will be a bit far from the zombie world, offering a comedy with dramatic overtones as detailed by Deborah Snyder, film producer.

The cast will be completed by Nathalie Emmanuel, Ruby O. Fee, Stuart Martin, Guz khan, Jonathan Cohen y Noémie Nakai.
