The call to participate in the edition was recently opened 2024 of the Medifé Filba Awards, distinction that will grant 3.500.000 weights to the winning title.

The jury of this edition, made up of María Moreno, María Sonia Cristoff and Daniel Link, will have the difficult task of selecting the five finalist works from an initial list of ten titles. The winning novel will be announced in November.

The call is open for the first editions of novels originally written in Spanish by Argentine authors., published by publishers from anywhere in the world. Eligible works must have been published during the year 2023 and comply with the prize rules.

To apply, It is necessary to complete the form available on the Medifé Foundation website and submit three copies of the applicant novel.. The works can be physically delivered to the Medifé Foundation headquarters in the City of Buenos Aires or sent by certified mail.. Deliveries of e-books or PDFs are also accepted via email..

In July the “long list” will be revealed with an initial selection of ten novels. The “short list” will be announced in October and in November, the winning title will be known.
