The Museum of Imagination and Play was officially inaugurated

The Museum of Imagination and Play (MIJU) It is located on Avenida de los Italianos 851, where the Museum of Humor was previously located and was originally the Munich Brewery building, right in front of the waterfront.
The head of the Buenos Aires Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, was present during the inauguration., together with officials from the City's Culture portfolio.
The MIJU is the first recreational space in the City of Buenos Aires especially dedicated to children between 0 Y 12 years.

The brand new space will be divided into three levels, being the first of them intended for early childhood (0 a 3 years), in order to enable exploration and enhance knowledge of the world through the senses.
The room is composed of organic and soft shapes with different reliefs, textures and colors. All proposals aim to accompany the sensory-motor and cognitive development of the participants.. further, It has a creative room that functions as a waiting area for companions older than 3 years.
On the ground floor there will be a space for children between 4 Y 7 years, where structures will be combined, air games and various recreational elements conducive to free play, exploratory motor play in contact with others and social psychomotor development.
It also has an immersive room that invites you to enjoy a 360º experience with animation and sound of the well-known Fierce Tales by Shumi Gauto; and with a meeting room where various proposals such as workshops and narrations can be carried out..
Finally, The basement will be dedicated to the boys between 8 Y 12 years, being a space that offers a recreational display conducive to the development of cognitive skills, as well as the development of collaborative and social skills in this age range.
Invites its visitors to create and interact through technological and digital proposals, to exercise logic and reasoning through analog games, and to express and give free rein to the imagination by providing musical and visual arts proposals.
Outside the MIJU is the Playground to enjoy outdoor recreational activities.. It is segmented into two sectors: in the first, an area dedicated to early childhood 0 a 3 years; and in the second, games for boys and girls 4 a 12 years. further, There are areas and spaces adapted for the comfort and well-being of the public, such as parking for strollers., lockers and lactation room.
The museum can be visited Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9 a 18 hours. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10 a 20 hours. It will be closed on Tuesdays.
