Inaugurates "concepts", the exhibition dedicated to the artist Guillermo Mordillo

This Friday 13 -from December 19- the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Boca (MARCO) will inaugurate the exhibition "concepts", a selection of works by the artist Guillermo Mordillo.

With free entry, The exhibition can be seen at the headquarters of Avenida Almirante Brown 1031, where it will remain open until 23 February. As for the schedule to visit, It is from Wednesday to Sunday 11 a 19 hours.

This selection is made by the most representative works of his career and all those thoughts about life and career that are unknown to the common of his followers by the very nature of his work.

At the same time, animations will be projected corresponding to various periods of his career, sequences of his major books and some advertising images made for major international firms.

"Concepts" is, also, the kickoff to launch a space that was coveted by the Mordillo himself and all his colleagues and friends, where it will be represented the major graphic history of the country and its different aspects illustrators: graphic humour, cartoon, illustration and animation; without ignoring the new generations that certainly will give continuity.

In that context, the Tres Pinos Foundation has decided the creation of the Museum of Graphic Illustration (ME), institution that will operate in the future, in the stately building located on Avenida Almirante Brown and Finch the historic neighborhood of La Boca.

While the listed building restored (conceived and created by architect Francesco Gianotti), the Tres Pinos Foundation offers a space for this exhibition, in its recently opened Museum of Contemporary Art -MARCO-, and is further proceeding cataloging, restoration and enhancement of the future collection of the MIG, taking into custody.

Founded in 2006, the Tres Pinos Foundation is a non-governmental organization Argentina, non profit, that comes with the main objective to be reference in matters concerning art.
